Waitlist Terms

These Waitlist Terms ("Terms") govern your decision to join the waitlist (the "Waitlist") for Maxemo, an online exam-preparation platform (the "Platform" or "Maxemo"). Maxemo helps candidates prepare for medical licensing examinations in the Middle East and North Africa ("MENA") region, including the DHA and EMREE exams, and is available to users globally — you can join the Waitlist from any country. The Platform is operated by Blackpie Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at C/O Muhamed Iliyas P, Rise, Areekode, Sullamusalam, Areacode, Ernad, Malappuram – 673639, Kerala ("Maxemo", "we", "us", or "our").

By joining the Waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not join the Waitlist.

In plain terms: Joining the Waitlist is free. You give us your contact details so that you are the first to receive Pre-Book details and the first to receive other Maxemo product announcements, ahead of the general public. Joining does not reserve a place, does not lock in any price, does not create any purchase, does not carry a "Founding Member" or similar tag, and does not entitle you to any bonus months or other reward. It is simply a way to hear from us first.

1. What the Waitlist Is

1.1. The Waitlist is a free way to register your interest in Maxemo ahead of the Platform's launch. Maxemo focuses on preparation for MENA medical licensing exams (such as DHA and EMREE) but is available to users globally.

1.2. Joining the Waitlist gets you exactly two benefits, and no others: (a) you are the first to receive details when the Pre-Book program opens; and (b) you are the first to receive other Maxemo product announcements and launch updates. Joining the Waitlist does not grant a "Founding Member" tag, badge, bonus months, price lock, or any other benefit — those, where available, come only from completing a Pre-Book (see the Pre-Book & Deposit Terms).

1.3. The Waitlist is separate from, and should not be confused with, the Pre-Book program (a paid deposit program governed by the separate Maxemo Pre-Book & Deposit Terms). Joining the Waitlist is not the same as pre-booking, and does not require or lead automatically to pre-booking.

2. No Payment, No Purchase

2.1. The Waitlist is completely free. We do not ask for, collect, or charge any payment to join the Waitlist, and no payment card or bank details are required.

2.2. Joining the Waitlist does not create a contract for the supply of any product or service, does not constitute an order, and does not obligate you to buy anything. It equally does not obligate Maxemo to supply anything to you.

3. What Joining Does — and Does Not — Give You

3.1. No reserved subscription slot. The Waitlist does not reserve a place, seat, or slot for a paid subscription. Only a completed Pre-Book (with a paid deposit) reserves a slot, subject to the Pre-Book & Deposit Terms.

3.2. Waitlist order carries no reward. Your order of joining the Waitlist may be recorded for our internal operational purposes (for example, to plan rollout capacity), but it does not, by itself, entitle you to any reward, tag, badge, or bonus months. There is no "Founding-30" or other rank-based reward tied to Waitlist position. The only benefits of joining the Waitlist are the early-notification benefits described in Section 1.2.

3.3. No price lock; rewards require pre-booking. Joining the Waitlist does not, by itself, lock in any price, discount, badge, or other reward. All rewards — including the Pre-Book bonus (extra free months) and Founding-Member perks (such as early beta access and friend invites) — are earned only by completing a Pre-Book, and are described in the Pre-Book & Deposit Terms. Waitlist members who do not pre-book receive no bonus months and no Founding-Member perks, but can still, at launch, start a free trial (available to all users) or use the free plan on standard terms.

3.4. No guaranteed launch, date, or availability. We are working toward launch but cannot guarantee a specific launch date, that the Platform will launch in any given market, or that any specific feature, plan, or price described in pre-launch communications will be offered at launch. Plans, features, and pricing described before launch are indicative and may change. Availability may also be affected in some countries by payment-provider or regulatory restrictions outside our control.

4. Eligibility

4.1. By joining, you confirm that the information you provide (such as your name, mobile number, email address, and country of residence) is accurate and belongs to you.

4.2. The Waitlist is open to users globally. You may join from any country. Availability of the Platform, of paid plans, and of payment methods in your location is not guaranteed and may be limited by local regulatory or payment-provider restrictions.

5. Information We Collect at Waitlist Sign-Up

5.1. We collect the Waitlist sign-up through a form hosted on Fillout (https://www.fillout.com/), a third-party form platform we use as our data processor for this purpose. The sign-up form asks you for:

• your name;
• your mobile number;
• your email address;
• your country of residence;
• your primary motivation for joining the Waitlist (selected from a fixed dropdown list of options); and
• where you heard about Maxemo (selected from a fixed dropdown list of options).

In addition to the fields you submit, Fillout automatically records the date and time you complete the form. We do not otherwise automatically collect technical information such as your device type, browser type, or IP-based location as part of Waitlist sign-up.

5.2. We use this information to: (a) administer the Waitlist; (b) send you the updates and communications described in Section 6; (c) verify uniqueness and prevent abuse or duplicate entries; (d) notify you, ahead of the general public, when the Pre-Book program and the Platform become available; and (e) understand why people are joining and how they found out about Maxemo, to help us plan our launch and improve how we reach candidates.

6. Communications and Consent

6.1. By joining the Waitlist, you agree that we may contact you at the email address and/or phone number you provide with product updates, launch announcements, early-access information, and related communications about Maxemo.

6.2. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time, at no cost, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by sending a consent-withdrawal request by email to hello@blackpie.co. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Once you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you marketing communications, though we may still send you essential service messages while you remain on the Waitlist (for example, confirming your removal).

6.3. We will not sell your Waitlist information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Waitlist and our communications — including Fillout (our waitlist form-hosting provider) and our email/messaging providers — under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection commitments, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. One Entry Per Person

7.1. The Waitlist is intended for genuine individual candidates. We may use your email address, phone number, and the date/time of your submission to detect and remove duplicate, automated, or fraudulent entries.

7.2. We may, at our discretion, remove entries that appear to be duplicates, bots, or created to abuse or manipulate the Waitlist or any launch program.

8. Leaving the Waitlist

8.1. You may leave the Waitlist and ask us to delete your Waitlist information at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism or contacting hello@blackpie.co. We will action your request in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. Changes to the Program or These Terms

9.1. We may change, pause, or discontinue the Waitlist, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify Waitlist members (for example, by email or by posting an updated version). Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

10.1. The Waitlist and any pre-launch information are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10.2. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maxemo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in the Waitlist, from any change to or discontinuation of the Waitlist, or from any change to the plans, features, pricing, or launch timing described before launch. Because the Waitlist is free, no fees have been paid for which any refund or compensation could arise.

10.3. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory statutory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

11. Relationship to Other Documents

11.1. These Terms cover the Waitlist only. The following separate documents govern other parts of the Maxemo launch and will apply to you if and when you participate in them:

• Maxemo Pre-Book & Deposit Terms — the paid pre-book deposit program.
• Maxemo Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms — the paid "Plus" subscription.
• Maxemo Refund & Cancellation Policy — refunds, cancellations, and the non-refundable deposit.
• Maxemo Privacy Policy — how we handle your personal data.
• Maxemo Terms and Conditions — the master terms for using the Platform.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [CITY — PLACEHOLDER], India will have jurisdiction, except that this choice of law and forum does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence that apply to you and cannot be excluded by agreement.
